This is a guide to entertainment, nightlife, and various events and activities in Austin. Unlike other guides this one is written by all our members and is always a work in progress. If something is incorrect or out of date, you can fix it. Any YAP member can easily change anything or undo bad changes made by someone else.

Nightlife

Looking for the best places to dine or party at in the evening? Our nightlife guide includes info on which areas of town, bars and nightclubs are best for young professionals. Trust other members opinions as the guide is updated by members to follow the trends as they happen.

Events

Our Events guide includes information on major annual events in the city. This includes generic ones common to every city such as St. Patrick's Day or New Years Eve along with popular annual city specific events such as formal balls and such. Our St. Patrick's Day guide may include advice on best parade(s) to attend, best bars to party at and how to avoid kids.

Activities

Our activities guide includes information on your favorite activities. Want to know the best trails for Rollerblading? Check our rollerblading guide. Best places to buy kayaks or kayaking tours? We've got a guide for that too. Want to know all the softball leagues in town, where they play and how much they cost? The information can be found in here as soon as someone writes it.
